Kingpins New York: Show Recap

KINGPINS NEW YORK THANKS TO ALL!

A big thank you to all who participated in our July 19-20 Kingpins Show at Pier 36/Basketball City in New York. This edition featured more than 85 exhibitors and presenters who showcased their collections and innovations to more than 600 individual visitors from 17 countries and nearly 300 companies. Attendance was up 14 percent and company attendance was up 39 percent compared to the New York show in January. Those figures are slightly down from the New York show last July, but it’s clear that brands are still attending shows, but tightening budgets mean they are sending fewer people. With the news about our agreement with Messe Frankfurt, we see even brighter days ahead

Another big thank you to our sponsors for this edition: Artistic Milliners; Cone Denim; Indigo Textile; Kaltex; Naveena Denim – NDL; Naveena Denim Mills x BluGround by Finteks; Raymond UCO Denim; Turteks Etiket; and US Group.

You may have noticed some changes this season, including a new layout that gave us more room for exhibitors, initiatives and other projects. This was also the New York debut of The Boxes, our curated inspiration installation. This edition included The Vintage Showroom; Key Pieces from Inspiring Wardrobes Around the World; and Kingpins One Denim, our initiative to address excess waste of money, time, energy and water in the denim industry.

We also brought the collection featuring Kingpins Most Sustainable Product (MSP) 2023 to inspire, inform and highlight the innovative work of our exhibitors across the supply chain.

You can find Milliron Studios’ photos from the show HERE! Be sure to share and credit accordingly. And don’t forget to tag @kingpins_show and using #kingpinsshow.

See you in Amsterdam in October and we’ll be back in New York January 2024!
