Made in Japan Coming to New York

Made in Japan, the new section that debuted in April at Kingpins Amsterdam, is coming to the U.S. A select group of mills and manufacturers will show at Basketball City during the July 23-24 run of Kingpins New York. 

To date, Ideablue, ICE, Japan Delivery Service, REFLOS and Rainbow Textile have joined the Made in Japan lineup. 

“The response to Made in Japan in Amsterdam was so positive, we knew we had to bring the same celebration of Japanese heritage, innovation and craftsmanship to our show in New York,” said Kingpins Chief Executive Officer Vivian Wang. “Jeans are the everyday uniform of the whole world, but to tell the complete story of denim, it’s important to include specialty, artisanal companies like the ones in Made in Japan. Kingpins is committed to bringing elevated suppliers like these to our shows.”

Additional Kingpins exhibitors, activities and initiatives will be announced in the coming weeks.
