Transformers to Host Supplier-Led Conference Before Kingpins Amsterdam Show
On Oct. 22, the day before Kingpins Amsterdam begins, Transformers Foundation will host the Transformers YOU Conference: Empowering Supplier-Led Conversations.
The event will address a slate of issues proposed by suppliers. Discussion topics include decarbonization targets, navigating sustainability legislation and tackling greenwashing concerns.
Transformers YOU will run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Tolhuistuin conference space in Amsterdam.
Transformers Foundation’s mission is to provide a platform to the jeans and denim supply chain, and a central point of contact for consumers, brands, NGOs and media who want to learn more about ethics and sustainable innovation in the industry.
Transformers grew out of the early days of Kingpins Show, when it was called Cotton Talks. In 2014, it became Kingpins Transformers, a summit series focused on environmental and socially responsible initiatives throughout the denim supply chain. Then in 2020, the series was spun off into a separate and independent organization called the Transformers Foundation.
