Watch Now: Re:newcell’s Circulose Fiber

In July, Levi’s released its “most sustainable jean” as part of its Wellthread collection – a line of clothing used as an incubator of sorts for exploring ideas around sustainability and circularity. Made with 60 percent organic cotton and Circulose – the fiber from Re:newcell that boasts 20 percent recycled denim fiber and 20 percent sustainably sourced viscose.

Kingpins and Transformers have had the pleasure of working with Stockholm-based Re:newcell for several years, helping to introduce their work and ideas to the denim supply chain.

In 2019, Jennie Fredricsdotter, Re:newcell’s circular business manager, gave a fantastic introduction to the company, its motivations and ethos as well as its approach to circularity and fashion.
