Kingpins NY Recap: Thanks for Coming + Show Photos

February, 2024

More than 700 visitors representing more than 300 companies from 17 countries turned out to brave the chilly January weather for Kingpins New York at Pier 36/Basketball City.

Kingpins New York was held at Pier 36/Basketball City in a chilly lower Manhattan overlooking the East River on January 24/25.  Our first event of the year contained over 85 exhibitors and presenters who showcased their products and work to over 700 individual visitors from more than 300 companies representing 17 countries.

This turnout is encouraging after the uncertainty of 2023 – an 11% increase in visitors from July 2023 and a 27% increase from January 2023! We were thrilled that brands like American Eagle Outfitters, Calvin Klein, Express, Gap, Kontoor Brands, Tommy Hilfiger, and so many others joined us.

We must give one more THANK YOU to our sponsors for January’s show: Artistic Milliners, Bossa, Cone Denim, Hyosung TNC, Indigo Textile, MG Apparel – Mahmood Group, Naveena Denim – NDL, NZ Denim, Sapphire Finishing Mills, Stitch & Trim / Scays Group, and Turteks Etiket.

In addition to our roster of supply chain exhibitors from all over the world, the show floor featured some crowd favorites – The Vintage Showroom, Key Pieces from Inspiring Wardrobes Around the World, Kingpins MSP and Kingpins One Denim. We were also proud to feature some new sources of inspiration – OOH BABY by Anika, Dailola by Teresa Misagal, UNEXPLORED by Ereks Blue Matters, Jean-Lyrics by lildenimjean, to name a few.

Next up, we head to Amsterdam in April and make our return to China with our Hangzhou event in May. We will be back in New York this July as we celebrate our 20th anniversary! See you there!
